This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application Forex Market Hours & Economic Calendar & News (the "App") handles information. Contact: support@xbtalgo.com.

1. No personal data collected

The App does not require an account or login and does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. There is no advertising, no analytics SDK, and no tracking.

2. Data stored on your device

The App stores your preferences locally on your device only (display time zone, time format, selected markets, alarm preferences, notification lead time, language, and theme). This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the App.

3. Network requests & third parties

To show economic events, market holidays, and financial news, the App makes requests to the following services. These requests contain only non-personal parameters (date ranges, an exchange code, page/limit); they do not include any identifier. As with any internet request, your device's IP address is technically visible to the receiving server.

• Financial Modeling Prep (via our Cloudflare proxy) — economic calendar, market holidays, and news data.
• Cloudflare — operates the proxy/CDN that forwards requests; may process technical request metadata (e.g. IP) transiently for security and delivery.
• ForexFactory / faireconomy.media — used as a fallback source for the current week's economic calendar.
• News publisher websites — when you tap a news headline, it opens in your device's browser on the third-party publisher's site, which is governed by that site's own privacy policy.
• Translation service — if you enable news-headline translation, headlines (which are public and contain no personal data) are sent through our proxy to a machine-translation service (Cloudflare Workers AI, or Anthropic) to render them in your language. No personal data or identifiers are sent.

All network connections use HTTPS (encrypted in transit).

4. Notifications

With your permission, the App schedules local notifications to alert you when a market is about to open. These are generated on your device; no notification data is sent to any server.

5. Children

The App is a general financial information utility and is not directed at children under 13.

6. Changes

This policy may be updated; the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.
